This is attempt number 1 of a diagram which I promised Jon Marks after his post. No it still does not have OSGI in! As Jon’s presentation used Prezi I thought I would give it a go. It takes a while to get the hang of it but it is fun. I can’t work out how to get an overview at the end though…

I don’t think I would add OSGi to this diagram – it is a very important standard (and I’m a big fan ot if) if your content management infrastructure is based on Java, but one could argue that it’s an implementation “detail”.
Maybe creating another diagram about Java standards that are important in content management would be more appropriate if you want to include it? I like the way the current diagram is implementation-agnostic.
Yes, I tend to agree, all the bits around implementation, which OSGI is, don’t really fit here the way it is structured.
Nice one. I agree that OSGi probably doesn’t fit in here either. But it’s cool. Needs a bit more colour and Bob Dylan though …
I havent worked out colour in Prezi yet, other than adding images. Looks like text colouring not there yet. I wanted to colour the standards by the organization that does them, I might see if I can drop images under them to do that.
I think “Blowing in the WInd” might go with it, but I havent decided.
Need to work out how to do the other set of transforms, on paths in Prezi too…
